Trade shows can offer a powerful platform for cities, businesses, and organizations to tell their stories in a way that is both compelling and visually engaging. Working closely with our client at Development Management Group, the Hunter Johnsen team had the opportunity to design displays for two Southern California cities. These displays were designed to be part of a joint exhibit at an upcoming conference—a premier gathering of industry leaders shaping the future of commercial real estate.
Each city had an established identity, including logos, taglines, and overall brand. Our goal was to translate these elements into eight-foot displays that effectively communicated the character and offerings of each city. The goal was to create a unified presence that showcased key aspects such as community, lifestyle, business environment, and retail opportunities.
Understanding that trade shows are highly visual and fast-paced environments, we focused on creating displays that could convey the story at a glance.
To enhance communication beyond the visual displays, we also developed individual collateral pieces tailored to each city that provided in-depth, data-specific information.
